My backyard is full of flowers at really weird points in the year. Our trees don't necessarily bloom when they are supposed to, because New England weather is so freaking weird. To me, Alex fit right in with the flowers, especially with her straw styled hat. It also made me rather happy that her eyes are so blue, and the pink of the flowers really makes them stand out.
